Who We Are

Destiny Church is a place of hope and healing where you can experience the forgiveness, grace, and love of God. Whether you grew up in or out of church you'll find an accepting family of believers dedicated to loving God and loving people. Simply put, "You are welcome here."

Destiny Church began as a small group in the home of our Pastors, Jimmy and Renee Johnston. A group of believers
gathered each week to worship God, be encouraged through Bible study and prayer, and of course, to eat! The desire began to start a new church in Warren County. A church that would have "serving others" as it's primary focus. In the fall of 2013 Destiny Church was born, and it's first "official" service was held early in 2014.

Destiny is a place where individuals and families of Warren County and Southern Kentucky can grow and flourish in faith, and discover God's destiny for their lives. We welcome you to come and enjoy a life transforming message, uplifting praise and worship, and genuine friendship. If you are looking for a place to get connected, a place to discover purpose and meaning, a place where you can belong, and a place to serve; then Destiny Church is the place for you. WE DESIRE...

to KNOW GOD, FIND FREEDOM, DISCOVER PURPOSE, and MAKE A DIFFERENCE. This is our 4 fold mission at Destiny Church. We desire for each person to know God, discover their God-given talents and abilities and use them to make a difference for the Kingdom of God.

WE BELIEVE...

that if you want to reach people no one is reaching, you have to do things no one is doing. A church that stays within it's four walls isn't a church at all. We don't go to church, we are the church. The church is not a noun, it's a verb. An action verb. We believe God will bless our church in proportion to how we give to missions and care for the poor in our city.

WE WANT...

to be known more for what we're for than what we're against. We celebrate each person as invaluable and irreplaceable in the eyes of God because no one can worship God like you or for you. Like Jesus, we love people when they least expect it and least deserve it.

WE PRAY...

first, pray hard and pray often. We want to be great at the great commandment and the great commission. We strive to make the name of Jesus famous in our generation.

WE HOPE...

to become part of the personal destiny God has given you, and we invite you to become a part of the corporate destiny God has given us. Destiny Church is a "purpose factory" where people get a vision from God and go for it.
