Isaiah 59:4 "no one calls for justice, nor does any plead for truth. They trust in empty words and speak lies; they conceive words they can see the evil and bring forth iniquity. They hatch vipers eggs and weave the spiders web; he who eats of their eggs dies, and from that which is crushed a viper breaks out.
In this passage of Scripture the writer is comparing the conception of sin to being like a snake eggs.
